A Bunch of Landscapes

Victoria Sambunaris has taken many beautiful pictures of the landscape of America. As soon as you walk in there are many small pictures hanged together on the left wall. To the right there were large photographs in frames. One picture was a canyon that looked so amazing. The picture was taken at the bottom of the canyon but you could see the patches of grass at the top. The water looked so peaceful too. At first glance I thought one photo was just a field and a car. Looking closely I saw it was actually a farm with some pipes built into the ground to water the not yet planted crops. I also recall a picture of a few trucks parked next to each other and another one of a road splitting up in a desert. There were some items in cases throughout the exhibit but I can’t seem to recall either one of them. I recall two things: one large silver piece and a small golden-brass object. While I was leaving, I took a quick look at the smaller pictures. Unfortunately, I barely remember what they were but the clear blue skies stayed in my head.

Although I had a short time at the exhibit, I was nonetheless amazed by the quality of the photos. I felt like I could feel the wind on that farm or the smell of the water between the canyons. It was weird, in my opinion, that she took a random picture of parked trucks for an exhibit that mostly contained photos of large areas. I wish I could remember what were in the cases because looking back, they also seem out of place. Overall, I really enjoyed the photos.

Playstation: Long Live Play

One product that I have been using since I was a kid would be Sony’s Playstation. The PS One was my first gaming console. Back then I didn’t have a lot of games, but I still remember the accomplish feeling of passing those difficult levels. Since then I’ve own every other version of the console.  The Dragon Ball Z and FIFA Street games were seriously competitive against my friends. I’m the type to think back on fond memories, and thanks to Sony re-releasing some old games in HD, those moments can be appreciated all over again. Those old games still bring back so much nostalgia.

My Home Is Where My Heart Is

I have lived in the same house for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I would play on the field. My parents use to throw big parties for my siblings and I when we were younger in our backyard. That is why it hurt my family so much when our house caught fire. The five us had to cope and live with our three dogs in a hotel. After six months, our insurance refused to cover the hotel bill, so my family and I moved back to our unfinished home. Thankfully, things are normal now and we have our home back.
